TrustMark Code of Conduct Compliance

Watt Chargers Ltd is committed to operating to the highest standards of workmanship, customer service, and fair trading. We adhere fully to the TrustMark Code of Conduct, the Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in and around the home.

This commitment means that we:

  • Operate with honesty, integrity, and transparency in all customer communications

  • Provide clear written quotations, contracts, and pricing with no hidden charges

  • Comply with all relevant UK consumer protection, health & safety, and environmental legislation

  • Ensure all work is carried out with reasonable care, skill, and technical competence

  • Maintain appropriate insurances and financial protections where required

  • Handle complaints fairly, promptly, and in line with an established complaints and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) process

  • Protect customer data in accordance with UK data protection legislation

  • Use the TrustMark brand responsibly and only in accordance with scheme guidelines

By adhering to the TrustMark Code of Conduct, Watt Chargers Ltd demonstrates its ongoing commitment to quality, professionalism, and consumer confidence across all EV charging installation and maintenance services we provide.

Waste Management & Environmental Compliance

Watt Chargers Ltd operates in full compliance with the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011, ensuring that all waste arising from our EV charging installation, maintenance, and electrical works is managed responsibly, lawfully, and with due regard to environmental protection.

In accordance with these Regulations, we:

  • Apply the waste hierarchy as a priority, favouring prevention, reuse, and recycling over disposal wherever reasonably practicable

  • Ensure all controlled waste is handled, stored, transported, and transferred in compliance with legal requirements

  • Use only appropriately registered waste carriers, brokers, and disposal facilities

  • Maintain accurate waste transfer documentation and retain records in line with statutory timeframes

  • Take reasonable measures to prevent harm to human health, wildlife, soil, water, and the wider environment

  • Dispose of electrical, packaging, and construction waste responsibly, including recycling where possible

This approach reflects our wider commitment to sustainable practices, regulatory compliance, and the responsible delivery of EV infrastructure across England and Wales.

Consumer Rights Act 2015 Compliance

Watt Chargers Ltd is fully committed to complying with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, ensuring that all goods and services we supply are provided fairly, transparently, and to a professional standard.

In line with the Act, we ensure that:

  • All goods supplied, including EV charging equipment, are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described

  • Installation and electrical services are carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and for a fair and agreed price

  • Customers are provided with clear, accurate, and binding pre-contract information

  • Any issues are addressed promptly through appropriate remedies, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, where applicable

  • Contract terms are fair, transparent, and compliant, and do not restrict or exclude statutory consumer rights

Nothing in our contracts or policies affects a customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This commitment underpins our approach to customer service, quality assurance, and long-term trust.
